I’m Sophia — a teacher and a learner who is passionate about life, love, and laughter.

I believe that teaching is a work of heart and also lots of hard work. Having been there and done that, I do have an idea about how a day in the life of a teacher looks like.

It’s hardly any surprise that  I’ve great regards for other fellow teachers. It’s such a joy to witness great commitment and passion that drives each of us to deliver nothing but the best.

“A teacher who loves learning earns the right and the ability to help others learn.”

― Ruth Beechick, An Easy Start in Arithmetic, Grades K-3

Can’t agree more!

With this blog, I intend to express my thoughts on things I care about. I’ll mostly focus on a little bit of this and a little bit of that and a whole lot of other things under the sun.

  1. Thanks for following TWDB, Sophia. I love your philosophy of learning and teaching; it makes a wonderful foundation on which to build young and inquiring minds.

Though I’m an old guy, I realize that one never finishes learning. Neither is one exempt from teaching, as every contact with another offers an opportunity to both teach and learn. In that respect I envy professional teachers, as their time is filled with both.

May God richly bless your life and your work, for they are one and the same.
